The Enchanting Beauty of Bedugul

Bedugul is a tourist area with lakes and mountains in Bali, Indonesia, located in the center of the island near Lake Bratan between Denpasar and Singaraja. This area includes the villages of Bedugul itself, Candikuning, Pancasari, Pacung and Wanagiri.


Bedugul is located in the Tabanan Regency, 48 kilometers (30 mi) north of Denpasar city or 20 kilometers (12 mi) south of Singaraja. In this area there are three crater lakes namely Lake Bratan, Lake Buyan, and Lake Tamblingan.





1. Pura Ulun Danu Beratan


Ulun Danu Temple or Penataran Agung Ulun Danu Temple is one of the nine Khayangan Jagat Temples that surround

the island of Bali. This temple consists of five complexes, namely Penataran Agung, Prajapati, Dalem Purwa, Taman Beji, Lingga Petak, and the other is a Buddhist stupa. 

Until now, Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is still used as a place of prayer for Hindus. Apart from that, the Ulun Danu Temple

has also been enshrined in a Rp. 50,000 denomination.






2. Kintamani Jeep Tour


Traveling around the Bedugul area, especially Mount Batur, will be more fun and memorable by riding a jeep. You can try

the Sunrise Jeep Tour, as quoted from the official Kintamani Jeep Tour website. With a jeep, you don't need to get tired of

climbing mountains and can enjoy the epic views at a higher altitude for longer.


It's best if you try this jeep tour before sunrise. Jeep tours usually start at 05.00 am and arrive at the view point at 05.45.

However, you can also use this jeep tour service outside of these hours, for example during the day.


The rental price depends on the package you choose, whether just to the sunrise view point or continuing to

Black Lava and Black Sand. Booking prices range from IDR 550 thousand to IDR 1.3 million.




3. Bedugul Botanical Garden


If you want to enjoy tourism other than the beach, then try to visit the Bedugul Botanical Garden. The location is in Candikuning

Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency.


The Bedugul Botanical Gardens were inaugurated in 1959 under the name Eka Bali Botanical Gardens. However, currently it is

better known as the Bedugul Botanical Gardens or Bali Botanical Gardens. Apart from traveling, visitors can also get closer to nature

while at the Bedugul Botanical Gardens.


This tourist spot has several areas, including Usada Park, Surya Nirwana Park, Paku Garden,

Ramayana Boulevard, Begonia Greenhouse, Rhododendron Park, Rose Garden and Bamboo Garden.
